Danville's business loan program has been a success
DANVILLE – With programs and partnerships, the city has invested more than $4 million in local businesses during the past 20 years, and officials said it's worth every penny.
Through the city's revolving loan fund or a partnership with Vermilion County Community Development Corporation, local businesses have had another way to finance improvements or expansions. While city officials said they are happy with its success, they plan to take another look at the program next year to see how they want to continue to use its funds.
