Company faces off with Bement over railroad tracks
BEMENT – Officials at an East Central Illinois grain cooperative said they plan to begin construction of a new railroad siding at its elevator in Bement within the next few months– with or without village permission.
The Topflight Grain Company is a farmer-owned cooperative that serves Piatt, Macon, Douglas and Moultrie counties.
