Shooting in Danville leaves one person dead, two injured

DANVILLE – Danville police are continuing an investigation this morning into the shooting death of 61-year-old Felipe Alvarez.

Details are sketchy, but Danville police spokesman Larry Thomason said police were called to a residence in the 900 block of Shasta Drive about 8:24 p.m. Monday.
