Champaign dentist acquitted in assault
URBANA – A Champaign County jury of 11 men and one woman on Wednesday acquitted a former Champaign dentist of sexually assaulting an employee.
The jury deliberated just under an hour before returning its verdict against Dr. Scot Brewer, 49, of Dewey, who cried when he heard the jury's decision.
