Champaign fire chief recovering from infection
CHAMPAIGN – Champaign Fire Chief David Penicook remained in fair condition today at Carle Foundation Hospital.
Penicook, 59, has been hospitalized since early Sunday with an internal infection. He was moved to the progressive care unit, an intermediate care area, on Wednesday from intensive care.
