Trustees to transit district in southwest Champaign to be named

URBANA – The new transit district in southwest Champaign, in limbo for nine months, will come into being next week when the Champaign County Board names its trustees.

Residents of southwest Champaign voted 922 to 237 to create the South West Champaign Mass Transit District in March.
