Taxpayer points out MTD meeting notice violations
CHAMPAIGN – A Champaign taxpayer has changed MTD policy after he complained about an Open Meetings Act violation.
The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District will post an agenda at its meeting place in Illinois Terminal 48 hours before meetings, after Edward Vaughan Jr., a nominee for a competing transit district, complained to The News-Gazette.
