Ten hopefuls in running for three council seats
CHAMPAIGN – Champaign voters will see a Feb. 27 primary for the city council, after 10 candidates filed petitions for the three at-large seats being contested.
The primary will narrow the field to the top six candidates, who will then face off in the April 17 municipal election. Monday was the last day that council candidates could file petitions to seek office.
