Student's fall from tower ruled accidental

URBANA – The death of a University of Illinois student whose body was found at the base of a broadcast tower on campus was ruled accidental by a Champaign County coroner's jury Thursday.

Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Fabian said Christopher Fu, 20, of 109 W. Pennsylvania Ave., U, was pronounced dead at 1:06 a.m. Oct. 23 at the scene where he was found, near the WILL-TV and radio tower at Campbell Hall, 300 N. Goodwin Ave.
