Urbana City Council OKs electronic attendance ordinance

URBANA – Attending city council meetings by telephone has been a reality in Urbana for about a year.

At various times, council members, including Lynne Barnes, D-Ward 7, Brandon Bowersox, D-Ward 4, Heather Stevenson, R-Ward 6, and Danielle Chynoweth, D-Ward 2, have taken advantage of the option of attending a meeting electronically.
