Chief chases, helps catch burglary suspect
CHAMPAIGN – Champaign Police Chief R.T. Finney helped chase and capture a man accused of a car burglary in Champaign.
Marcus Burns, 21, who listed an address in the 2100 block of Emerald Drive, Champaign, was arraigned and pleaded innocent Friday to a charge of burglary. His bond was set at $15,000, and he is due to return to court Jan. 16.
