14-year-old to spend holidays behind bars
URBANA – A 14-year-old Urbana boy whose friends told him how "cool" he was for spraying pepper spray in school will be spending the holidays behind bars.
Champaign County Judge Harry Clem on Friday ordered that it was a matter of "immediate and urgent necessity" to keep the boy locked up in the wake of an incident Thursday at Urbana Middle School that sent 20 students to two area hospitals.
