Danville Housing Authority awaiting approval of policy changes
DANVILLE – The Danville Housing Authority is waiting for state and federal approval before changes to its leasing policy can take effect.
The housing authority board approved several changes recently that include reducing the number of days a visitor can stay, increasing preferences to victims of domestic violence and granting preference to veterans. Policy changes also increase restrictions on applicants.
