Autopsy to be performed on fire victim today
RANTOUL – The cause of death for a man whose body was found in a home that caught fire in Rantoul was to be determined at an autopsy today.
The adult male was pronounced dead at 8:05 a.m. Friday at 1580 Eater Drive in Rantoul, according to Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup. He was found in the northwest bedroom of the home, Northrup said.
