Urbana native dies in Iraq

URBANA – An Urbana native has died in Iraq, the Department of Defense announced Thursday.
Pvt. Robert A. Liggett, 23, died on May 29 in Rustamiyah, Iraq, from injuries suffered in a noncombat-related incident. His death is under investigation, the Defense Department said.
Mr. Liggett was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division in Fort Benning, Ga.
