Champaign man linked to crimes by prints, DNA
Local authorities say Horace Lee Wilson's case is a perfect example of why criminals' DNA is collected to check against unsolved cases.
Wilson, 47, who was arrested in Champaign on a warrant in connection with a Texas woman's 1995 slaying, is being held in the Tarrant County, Texas, jail. He was transferred from the Champaign County jail Dec. 13 and booked Dec. 18 in the Texas jail. His bond was set at $500,000.
