Urbana council will vote on rental registration next week
URBANA – After seven months of debate, a rental registration and inspection ordinance is set for a final vote at next Tuesday's city council meeting.
Though some council members still want to do some final tinkering, aldermen decided to e-mail any concerns or suggestions they have to City Attorney Jim Gitz or Community Development Director Libby Tyler, who will prepare amendment language that could be voted on at next week's meeting.
