Next Boneyard phase moves ahead
CHAMPAIGN – The city council is opting for a mixed – and more expensive – approach to developing the Boneyard Second Street Reach detention project.
Council members voted 6-2 Tuesday night in study session to back a $20.3 million alternative for developing the second phase of the Boneyard Creek improvement plan. The favored approach calls for both above- and below-ground storage of stormwater.
