Swimming facility reopens to public after monthslong closure

URBANA – Within minutes of its official opening, the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center was filled with sound and splashing.

At 1:30 p.m. Friday, Gary Cziko became the first member of the public to slip into the cool water of the lap pool, where he started doing the crawl.
