Vineyard owners get needed signatures for referendum
OAKWOOD – Catlin Township residents should have the chance in April to change a local law that's been on the books since the 1930s.
On Friday, local vineyard owners Joe and Dawn Taylor of rural Oakwood turned in a petition with more than 600 signatures of Catlin Township residents requesting a referendum asking voters to end the prohibition of alcohol in the township.
