Illinois' economy prepared for business growth
SPRINGFIELD – Illinois' business climate is vigorous and poised for growth, but workers here are still worse off than in most other states, according to a new study.
The Washington, D.C.-based Corporation for Enterprise Development issued its 20th annual Development Report Card for the States on Thursday, rating each state on 67 different measures, from employment and salary data to transportation infrastructure, industrial diversity and quality of life.
