Man sentenced to prison for counterfeiting
DANVILLE – A Danville man was sentenced to federal prison for counterfeiting.
Chief U.S. District Judge Michael McCuskey on Wednesday sentenced Steven E. Acree Jr, 24, to 6 1/2 years in prison for one count of counterfeiting U.S. currency, one count of conspiracy to counterfeit and pass currency and two counts of passing U.S. currency.
