First-degree murder charge dismissed

URBANA – A murder charge was dismissed Monday against a man accused of the 2003 murder of Helen Melchi.

Champaign County State's Attorney Julia Rietz said the charge against Ramone Roebuck, 30, of Champaign was dismissed Monday, but the case remains under investigation.
