Robber foiled when workers don't believe him
FAIRMOUNT – An attempted bank robbery was foiled Friday after employees didn't believe the potential thief.
Vermilion County Sheriff Pat Hartshorn said that a man entered an Illinois National Bank branch on Main Street in Fairmount on Friday afternoon with his face covered and a black bag in his hand.
