Man gets probation for role in robbery
URBANA – A man who admitted he was present when another man was robbed by others last summer has been sentenced to three years of probation.
Dontario Webster, 18, whose last known address was in the 500 block of East Beardsley Avenue, Champaign, pleaded guilty to robbery under the theory that he gave the attackers of James Thompson Sr., 66, information on where they could find him. Mr. Thompson died about a week after the attack.
