Sledding cure for cabin fever
The hills – all three of them – were alive with the sounds of laughter on Wednesday afternoon, as children, teens and parents took advantage of blue skies, white surfaces and empty schools to grab their sleds and head outdoors.
"My daughters were just dying to get here," said Pauline Loomis of Champaign. After a day indoors playing board games, Alyson Wagner, 7, and Jessica Wagner, 8, were ready for the rush of winter cold.
