Smokefree alliance endorses four
CHAMPAIGN – The C-U Smokefree Alliance says four of the nine primary candidates for at-large city council seats have signed a pledge indicating they would not vote to weaken or repeal the city's current indoor smoking ban.
The candidates receiving the group's endorsement are incumbents Tom Bruno and Giraldo Rosales and newcomers Patricia Avery and Annette Williams.
