Rural Arthur man critical after SUV hits buggy
ARTHUR – A rural Arthur man remained hospitalized in critical condition today after the buggy he was driving near Arthur was hit by a sport utility vehicle Wednesday. His horse died.
Moultrie County sheriff's Deputy Jan Braden said Willis A. Miller, 52, was driving his buggy south on the Arthur-Atwood Road about 2 1/2 miles south of U.S. 36 when the buggy was hit by an SUV driven by Timothy W. Scheffer, 28, of Atwood.
