School board to determine if election materials are valid
URBANA – Champaign school board members, acting as an education officers election board, will regather Monday morning to examine school board petitions and voter registration cards as part of the process to decide on a challenge against five candidates.
The process began Friday at the Champaign County Courthouse, despite a request by David Brayfield of Champaign who objected to materials filed by incumbent Nathan Banks and hopefuls John Bambenek, Susan Grey, Scott MacAdam and Greg Novak.
