Former Urbana teacher arrested on McLean County charges
URBANA – Former Urbana grade school teacher Jon White, accused of molesting students in Urbana since 2005, was arrested Tuesday on new charges filed by McLean County authorities.
The 26-year-old Normal man, formerly a second-grade teacher at Thomas Paine school, 1801 James Cherry Drive, U, arrived at the Champaign County Courthouse about noon Tuesday, well ahead of his 3:15 p.m. court appearance, to be arraigned on a 16-count indictment returned last Thursday by the grand jury.
