Author of book on iPod will give speech at UI

When David Weightman looks at his iPod he doesn't just see a handy portable music, audio book and video player.

The director of the University of Illinois School of Art and Design sees a classic example of industrial design smarts, notably in the ease with which a user can navigate thousands of selections.
