Customers' information compromised
SPRINGFIELD – Anyone who bought or returned items at any T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Marshalls or A.J. Wright store in recent years should keep a close eye on their billing statements and credit reports, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan warned on Tuesday.
TJX Companies Inc., operator of all four retailers, has confirmed that its customer information database was hacked, affecting customers who shopped there during 2003, 2004 or 2006.
