Ward 6 race enjoys best voter turnout in Danville
DANVILLE – The soon-to-be vacant seat of Ward 6 Alderman Keith Souza may have encouraged voter turnout in that area during Tuesday's primary election.
Of the three contested city council races, two Ward 6 contenders nabbed the most votes of any candidate – with 257 votes between them. Those votes accounted for 47 percent of the 548 votes collected Tuesday, including absentee and early voting ballots.
