Replacement of bridge on north side of Danville to begin
DANVILLE – Northern Vermilion County residents who work in Danville might want to leave home a little earlier each morning from now until Nov. 1.
Today, crews begin tearing out and replacing the bridge that spans the North Fork River on Illinois 1 north of Danville. The project cuts off the main route into Danville from the north part of the county for the next nine months, creating a dilemma for those who travel Illinois 1 on a daily basis.
