Champaign Council puts shorter leash on kennels
CHAMPAIGN – The city council voted unanimously Tuesday night to tighten standards for allowing kennels within the city.
Under the new standards, kennels would now be allowed in areas zoned light industrial and continue to be allowed in areas zoned general commercial and commercial industrial.
