State auditor orders UI Research Park to pay expenses
The state auditor has found fault with how the University of Illinois Research Park was tracking expenses and how it was slow to repay the university for certain building costs.
The state auditor general recommended the research park repay $280,000 owed to the university and that the park should not incur any costs or commit to projects it can't pay for.
