Company president lays out plans for neighborhood
CHAMPAIGN – The president of the company that owns Alloy Casting & Engineering says that while his company would like a new, more direct truck route into its Champaign plant, it doesn't want to damage the surrounding neighborhood.
"We'd like to reroute the trucks so they don't drive through that neighborhood," said Dennis Wright, president of Wirco, the Avilla, Ind., firm that owns the local Alloy Engineering & Casting plant.
