Danville schools cut only one job; grant would restore it
DANVILLE – Unlike last year, when Danville schools officials were forced to notify nearly 100 employees that their positions would be cut, officials on Wednesday announced that only one job will be eliminated through a reduction in force.
"This is really great news," Superintendent Nanette Mellen said earlier this week.
