Process to update ordinances begins in Danville

DANVILLE – Jim Crose pointed out the three-sided fireplace and hot tub in the loft he and his wife, Debbie, are renovating above Crose's insurance business at 113 N. Vermilion St.

The Croses plan to join a growing trend of downtown property owners who live above their own business. The couple now reside on a farm along West Newell Road and decided to either remodel their house or move downtown.
