GCMS Middle School makes good impression
GIBSON CITY – There's a spirit of celebration at Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Middle School, and Principal Michael Bleich is going to include students, faculty, parents and residents in the celebrating.
The middle school is one of six middle schools in the state to be designated this year as an "Illinois Horizon School: Schools to Watch." Bleich has invited area residents to the official awards ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, and he's giving students an opportunity to decide how they want to celebrate.
