Felony charges dismissed in shooting case
URBANA – A prosecutor dismissed serious felony charges against a Chicago man Thursday after being unable to locate the victims.
Champaign County State's Attorney David Steigmann dismissed aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm charges against Comonte S. Sanders, 27, of Chicago, as his trial before Champaign County Judge Tom Difanis was scheduled to begin.
