Men arrested for computer theft

URBANA – Two Danville men are in police custody this morning after allegedly stealing a computer from one store and trying to return it to another.

Champaign County Sheriff's Sgt. Dan Coile said employees at Wal-Mart, 505 S. Dunlap Ave., Savoy, noticed two men acting suspiciously in the electronics section about 2:45 p.m. Thursday. They watched the men put a boxed computer in their cart and take it to customer service to attempt to return it for cash. When the employee balked at a refund, the men fled with the computer.
