Board urges delay in tax cycle changes
URBANA – Exasperated county board members passed a resolution they admitted is toothless Wednesday night, urging a county official to reconsider changing the tax cycle midcycle.
Champaign County's policy committee spent nearly three hours on a single agenda item, questioning Supervisor of Assessments Curt Deedrich and members of the county's Board of Review about Deedrich's unilateral changes in policy.
