Savoy board OKs acquiring land by use of eminent domain

SAVOY – The village board has approved acquiring land near the intersection of Curtis Road and Prospect Avenue by eminent domain.

On Wednesday, the Savoy village board unanimously passed a resolution authorizing the acquisition of property around the intersection by eminent domain for the Curtis Road construction project.
