Copper downspout stolen from church
CHAMPAIGN – Mowing the lawn this week at Holy Cross Church, 405 W. Clark St. C, led to the discovery of a 13-foot section of copper downspout missing, according to Champaign police.
The downspout was stolen off the east side of the church, but when the actual theft occurred is not known, police said.
