Drug crime nets man term concurrent to murder case
URBANA – A former Champaign man who pleaded guilty to a Champaign murder during plea negotiations on an unrelated federal drug case was sentenced Tuesday to a concurrent term for the drug crime.
U.S. Central District of Illinois Chief Judge Michael McCuskey sentenced Shance Dalton, whose last known local address was in the 1500 block of South Mattis Avenue, to 21 years and 10 months for distribution of crack cocaine.
