Man charged in theft, break-in cases

URBANA – A man accused of stealing a laptop computer from a television station where he worked on a cleaning crew has also been linked to an attempted apartment break-in earlier this month.

Maurice Thomas, 22, who listed an address in the 200 block of Burr Oak Court, Champaign, was charged Tuesday with felony theft and attempted residential burglary.
