Danville hotel construction to start this summer

DANVILLE – In a year, travelers in the Danville area will have yet another hotel option on Lynch Drive as plans move forward on a new Hampton Inn and Suites.

P.B. Patel, manager of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, said construction will begin this summer on the 74-room Hampton that will be located just south of the Holiday Inn at 310 Eastgate Drive. The hotel should be complete by spring 2008, Patel said.
