More luring reports received in Champaign
CHAMPAIGN – Police in Champaign are investigating incidents which may be similar to those in Urbana in which a man is accused of trying to lure girls into his car.
Matthew Pitts, 24, who listed an address in the 200 block of Country Fair Drive, Champaign, was arraigned Monday on three counts of felony child abduction. The charges accuse him of luring or attempting to lure three children under the age of 16 years old into a vehicle.
