Study finds racial disparity among potential jurors
URBANA – Too few Asian and black males are called for jury service in Champaign County, while white women are there in overabundance.
That's just one of the conclusions of a study of the county court system done by University of Illinois law students and court watchers from the Champaign County League of Women Voters.
